Whereas reliable and sustainable power supply is critical to economic diversification, infrastructure, and rural community growth in the North Island; And whereas increased power capacity will support sustainable industry transition and green energy development; Therefore be it resolved that AVICC request that the provincial government commit to upgrading North Island power supply infrastructure to support economic growth, green energy projects, and a resilient regional economy.
